Services

Tax: The firm performs a wide range of tax services including individual and business tax preparation. Dave Holland is the tax partner with over twenty years of audit and tax experience. He has exceptional experience in the area of expatriate tax preparation and has numerous clients in overseas locations.


Audit: The firm enjoys a superior reputation within the audit community. Tom Reilly is in charge of audit operations and quality control and is particularly experienced in governmental and non-profit auditing which includes compliance with authoritative pronouncements such as OMB Circular A-133 and the Yellow Book. Our firm emphasizes audit efficiency while ensuring adherence to professional standards. One of our goals during audits is to provide a practical and useful management letter for our clients to utilize in improving their systems and operations. We believe our approach to audit engagements, being helpful and friendly, yet professional, ensures a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with our clients.


Peer Reviews: Partners David Hollandand Tom Reilly perform peer reviews of other CPA firms and have been doing so since the inception of the program in 1988. Both Tom Reilly (six years) and Dave Holland (three years) have served on the FICPA Peer Review Committee, which reviews for acceptance all reports submitted by peer reviewers for consistency and conformity with the Standards for Performing and Reporting on Peer Reviews. Through their extensive involvement with the peer review process, both partners bring added value to the peer reviews of other CPA firms. In addition to the formal peer review process, our firm philosophy is to informally pass on tips or suggestions for audit efficiency and working paper documentation/techniques which result in revenue enhancement and cost savings. We also assist other firms by performing annual inspections in compliance with their quality control documents.


Litigation Support: The firm is frequently sought out to perform difficult and demanding tasks in regard to civil and domestic legal disputes. Dave Holland and Tom Reilly have both served as consultants and expert witnesses. Dave has been certified as a special master in Seminole County and has served as an expert witness in Orange, Seminole, Volusia and Leon counties. Dave is very familiar with divorce litigation and provides tax and financial planning, and assists in the preparation of mandatory disclosures in such cases. Tom and Dave are certified fraud examiners who perform forensic accounting, investigate fraudulent activities and document findings for use by regulatory and investigative agencies. We have assisted the Florida Department of Insurance in a number of cases of troubled insurance companies.


Fraud Examinations: Both partners are members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. They are called upon in various situations to investigate fraudulent activities and document findings for use by other regulatory/investigative agencies.


Technical Consultants: The firm has earned the respect of many CPA practitioners within the accounting and audit profession for its superior technical competency. As a result, firm members are frequently called upon to perform preissuance reviews of financial statements of other accountants performing audits in the governmental, non-profit and business audit areas. These technical consulting services may be extended to address the engagement working papers.

Our firm is dedicated to staying on top of developments that affect our clients. We are well versed with QuickBooks and we supply our clients with invaluable assistance in set-up and operation of the program.
