MARJI PERKINS

Marji Perkins received her Master's degree in taxation, with honors, in 1992 and her Bachelor's degree in accounting, with honors, in 1990, both from the University of Central Florida. She has 15 years of experience, one in private accounting and fourteen in public accounting, including twelve years with Holland & Reilly. She serves as senior accountant or auditor-in-charge of audits of governmental and non-profit agencies.

Marji is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Government Finance Officers' Association (GFOA) and Florida Government Finance Officers' Association (FGFOA). She is a past chairman of the Academic Relations, Membership, and Public Relations committees of the Central Florida Chapter of the FICPA and a past chairman of the state Membership committee. She has served as the treasurer, secretary, President Elect, and President of the Central Florida Chapter of the FICPA.


Personal

Marji lives in Orlando where she is a current member of the UCF Alumni Association. She is an active member and past treasurer of the Orlando Jaycees and past treasurer of the Orlando Solar Bears Booster Club. In her spare time, she is an avid sports enthusiast and volunteers much of her time to charitable work.
